Free Services in ATHnet
The Athenian TCP/IP Amateur Radio Network
ATHnet offers FREE SERVICES to itīs members. Actually members are all the Radio Amateurs who
like TCP/IP and use our Network even by plain AX25. Noone has to become a member in a sense
that he has to sign anything, or pay any subscription. All we ask is your support to our Network, no money.
Naturally any help towards the further expansion and development of our Network is welcome, as long
as it is going to last and the one who will offer the help does not hope to make money out of it. Do not
forget that ATHnet is not here to make any money from anyone,
this is against ATHnetīs beliefs,
but to promote Amateur Radio and its computer communications.
The FREE SERVICES are:
AMPRnet e-mail,
PBBS MAIL,
MAILING LISTS of Radio Amateur content,
Free WEB SPACE,
CALLBOOK,
QSL Managers information,
WORLD PACKET Radio Connectivity (AX25 and NETROM),
WORLD AMPRnet Connectivity,

WORLD WIDE CONVERS SERVER
and much more
Click here to find out Frequencies etc.,
ACCESS TO THESE FREE SERVICES IS FREE FOR ALL LICENSED RADIO AMATEURS AND ONLY FOR RADIO AMATEUR PURPOSES!!!
ANY OTHER USE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!!!
ATHnetīs WEB SERVER is the only REAL Radio Amateur SERVER in Greece. It is a real machine
located in Athens. It belongs to the members of ATHnet and it is not just FREE WEB SPACE in another
SERVER in another country, or WEB SPACE in a SERVER that belongs to an Internet Provider. Also
the name www.athnet.ampr.org is a name that belongs to a REAL MACHINE not an ALIAS that pretends
to be a HOSTNAME which is only a directory in another machine in the US.
